Play

Living as an adult,
I miss those innocent days
When friends meant only play.

When friends meant only play,
When hearts were never broken,
And love meant no hurt.

Distance creeps with time
As we grow up as adults,
Friends are meant to drift.

You've written a good reminder of how things change as we grow up.:-)

It is sad and usually a fact, that playing is associated with kids only... they smile easily, they forgive easily and they forget easily.
Moving Words...

My take on the prompt - Perfection plays...
