Birthday reminds me,
Lessening my years on earth,
How shorter life gets!
When asked the question,
Have you made the best of it?
I am not yet sure!
Do not laugh at me
I could not stand up at times
For things I wanted.
If you are okay
Of me being a loser,
And if you are one,
Sometime do stop by
At my favourite cafe
For a losers' toast!

In my opinion, no one is a winner. Winning and losing is only a perspective!
Good one!
Be on the winning ticket!
Yes, it seems we do view birthdays much the same.
We shall have our toast at the cafe together, by and by. Then we can take a tally of life. ;-)

Yes. :)
@Alice
Haha! :)
This really struck a chord with me. I often feel this way about birthdays despite the celebrations.
Join the club, Kathy! On a lighter note, I think if everything is fulfilled in life then what would we strive for? At least I would not be writing this poem.
