She listened to the same song. Again. She felt numb. Yeah, that's how her brain had tried to block emotions and feelings. No more pain. No more negativity. Only neutrality. Nothing felt, nothing taken in too deep inside the heart. Because she had made peace with all of them. She wanted to cry. But, she couldn't. No more tears. She had made peace with them too.
Perhaps, that is why elders keep saying, " Get her/him married. They will learn what is life."
What did they know? She had been so close to death that she never felt alive.
